Relata a experiência de migração para a Internet da Revista de Biblioteconomia de Brasília, uma das publicações pioneiras na área de biblioteconomia e ciência da informação no Brasil. O trabalho faz parte de um estudo sobre periódicos eletrônicos como canal de comunicação extensiva para a comunidade científica. Nos últimos cinco anos as publicações eletrônicas tornaram-se tema de pesquisa em crescimento exponencial, fenômeno que reflete o interesse emergente dos pesquisadores, confirmando também a natureza dinâmica e multidisciplinar da Ciência da Informação, área com interface determinante em relação à tecnologia. Com o surgimento dos arquivos livres as revistas passarão por grandes transformações, confirmadas pelas mudanças no acesso a estes documentos.@pt

Describes the experience of migration to the Internet Journal of Librarianship of Brasilia, one of the first publications in the field of library and information science in Brazil. The work is part of a study of electronic journals as a communication channel extends to the scientific community.
