Descrevem-se a necessidade e o compromisso dessa instituição e do seu agente em minimizar as diferenças sócio-culturais. Sugerem-se a criação e a implementação de programas de incentivo e desenvolvimento do ato de ler voltadas para o contingente desprivilegiado sócio-cultural e econômico da sociedade.@pt

Considerations on the role of public libraries and librarians face the problem of reading. Describe the need and the commitment of this institution and its agent to minimize the socio-cultural differences. We suggest the creation and implementation of incentive programs and development of the reading act aimed at the underprivileged contingent socio-cultural and economic life of society.@en
