The “Constructed Information” based into the concepts of Pierre Bourdieu’ social theory

Este artigo parte do entendimento da informação como elemento inserido em dimensões sociais e culturais, amparado pela oferta conceitual da sociologia da cultura de Pierre Bourdieu. A “informação construída” no espaço social, diz respeito também à visão de Birger Hjørland sobre o domínio do conhecimento dentro das comunidades discursivas. Enfim, uma proposta conceitual elaborada como possibilidade de aproximação da Ciência da Informação com as Ciências Sociais.@pt

This article arises from understanding the information as an element built into the social and cultural dimensions and supported by the cultural sociology of Pierre Bourdieu. The “constructed information” in the social space refers to the vision of Birger Hjørland about the knowledge domain concerned with the discourse communities. Lastly it is a conceptual proposal meaning a possibility to approximate the Information Science to the Social Sciences.@en
