Scientific texts in information science and ginzburg: a possible connection

O objetivo deste trabalho é expor a influência de Carlo Ginzburg na literatura científica brasileira da área da Ciência da Informação (CI), que utiliza o método ou o paradigma indiciário, venatório ou divinatório. Foram relacionados dez textos, sendo duas dissertações e oito artigos de periódicos, publicados no período de 2000 a 2006 e analisadas as citações. As contribuições dos textos apontam no sentido de que é possível, através do paradigma indiciário, revelar a subjetividade presente na visão do pesquisador que investiga a realidade humana. Os cientistas da informação poderão, assim, ter a oportunidade de assumir o papel de facilitadores na comunicação da informação, participando ativamente do processo de construção do conhecimento.@pt

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the influence of Carlo Ginzburg in scientific literature in the in the Brazilian Information Science using the evidential, venatic, or divinatory method or paradigm disseminated by Ginzburg. The study proposes to analyze the text citations in scientific literature that establish that relation, as well as the possible influence of Ginzburgâs ideas. Ten texts were related: two Masterâs thesis and eight articles from journals published between the years 2000 and 2006, and the citations were analyzed. The texts contributions indicate that it is possible, by using the evidential paradigm, to unveil the subjectivity underlying the view of the researcher who investigates human reality. Therefore, information scientists may have the opportunity to assume the role of facilitators in communicating the information, by actively participating in the process of knowledge construction.@en
