Preservação, gerenciamento e governança arquivísticos na Justiça Eleitoral de Minas Gerais

Archival preservation, management and governance in the Electoral Justice of Minas Gerais

This article discusses archival preservation and its intertwining with archival policies, governance, and management, within the scope of the Regional Electoral Court of Minas Gerais. The instruments guiding these policies, such as resolutions and ordinances published by the Court itself and by its higher levels, were analyzed. It is argued that preservation, as an archival function, has the potential to contribute to institutional objectives, provided that the technical-scientific, managerial, and political requirements necessary for its proper execution are met. In this sense, the notion of institutional archival governance is presented as a possible and necessary link between the highest levels of the institution and the business area responsible for archival documents and archives.@en

Este artigo discute a preservação arquivística e suas imbricações com políticas, governança e gerenciamento arquivísticos no âmbito do Tribunal Regional Eleitoral de Minas Gerais. Foram analisados os instrumentos norteadores dessas políticas, como resoluções e portarias, publicados pelo próprio Tribunal e por suas instâncias superiores. Argumenta-se que a preservação, como função arquivística, tem potencial para contribuir para os objetivos institucionais desde que atendidas as exigências técnico-científicas, gerenciais e políticas necessárias à sua adequada execução. Nesse sentido, a noção de governança arquivística institucional é apresentada como elo possível e necessário entre os planos mais elevados da instituição e a área de negócios, responsável pelos documentos arquivísticos e pelos arquivos.@pt
