This essay aims to contribute with aspects, reflections and theories related to decoloniality in the field of Librarianship, more precisely in the field of university libraries, verifying existing decolonial actions regarding culture and practices through the integration of the library and its users. The context of decolonial relations in the academic scenario is verified, covering educational, social and cultural areas and information. It is also verified how the librarian, through his training, can work with aspects related to decoloniality. Finally, the issue of diversity in academic libraries is seen both in the theoretical and practical aspects, related to the best actions of promotion and social equity.@en

Este ensaio tem como objetivo contribuir com aspectos, reflexões e teorias ligadas à decolonialidade no campo da Biblioteconomia, mais precisamente no campo das bibliotecas universitárias, verificando ações decoloniais existentes no que se refere à cultura e às práticas por meio da integração da biblioteca e de seus usuários. É verificado o contexto das relações decoloniais no cenário acadêmico com abrangência nas áreas de educação, sociais, culturais e de informação. Também é verificado como o profissional bibliotecário, por meio da sua formação, pode trabalhar com aspectos ligados à decolonialidade. Por fim, a questão da diversidade em bibliotecas acadêmicas é vista tanto no aspecto teórico quanto no prático, relacionada às melhores ações de promoção e equidade social.@pt
