Desenvolvimento de coleções de materiais informacionais: análise da produção científica e vertentes temáticas (2011-2020)

Collection development of informational materials: scientific production and thematic strands analysis (2011-2020)

The collection development is a research field, it has been studied from several point of view, actuality it is guided by the information technology advance and its application in the context of libraries. This scenario constantly in change allow to meet new perceptions, thus it become the object of study to contribute in the actions in the field of collections of informational materials. The objective was to study the publications and thematic starnds in the collection development, indexed Brapci, since 2011 to 2020. This study is descriptive and mixed method, with quantitative and qualitative approach. The data has extracted from scientific article. The scientific production is asymmetric and unimodal nature, totaling 61 articles, written by 112 different authors, and published in 21 journals from Library and Information Science field. The years 2015 and 2017 were the peak of production. The thematic stands founded were four: 1) library and collection development; 2) digital book; 3) legal collection; and 4) selection of collection of informational materials. As a conclusion, new contexts of study were founded, such as, the aspects related to the digital book acquisition and the of legal collection.  @en

O desenvolvimento de coleções, como campo de pesquisa, vem sendo estudado em diversos ângulos e, na contemporaneidade — norteada pelo avanço acentuado das tecnologias da informação e sua aplicação no contexto das bibliotecas —, passa por mudanças, de modo que novas percepções se tornam objeto de estudo que contribui em ações no campo das coleções de materiais informacionais.  O objetivo foi estudar as publicações e as vertentes temáticas no tema desenvolvimento de coleções, indexada Brapci, no período de 2011 a 2020. Este estudo se caracteriza como sendo de natureza descritiva, com abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa, tendo como material de análise o artigo científico. A produção científica analisada é de natureza assimétrica e unimodal, totalizando 61 artigos, escritos por 112 autores distintos, e publicados em 21 periódicos da área de Biblioteconomia e Ciência da Informação. Os anos de 2015 e 2017 foram o ápice da produção. As vertentes temáticas levantadas foram quatro: 1) biblioteca e desenvolvimento de coleções; 2) livro digital; 3) coleção jurídica e 4) seleção de materiais informacionais. Como conclusão a pesquisa sinaliza para novos contextos de estudo, como, por exemplo, os aspectos relacionados à aquisição do livro digital e à formação de coleção jurídica, como também a formação e o desenvolvimento de coleios no contexto híbrido.@pt
