In times of denial of science, it is even more necessary to strengthen initiatives that involve teaching, research and extension. In view of this, it is worth highlighting the role of research groups, which represents an incentive for collaboration between students, teachers, researchers and society in favor of scientific progress. Based on this principle, this article further strengthens this understanding, presenting the experience of the Research Group on Behavior and Infocommunication Competencies, under an ethnographic methodology based on participant observation. Thus, InfoCom is described in terms of actions, constitution and its relevance in this context, as well as the group´s behavior through the development of knowledge, skills, attitudes and the ability to adhere to the group.@en

Em tempos de negacionismo à ciência, faz-se ainda mais necessário o fortalecimento de iniciativas que envolvem o ensino, a pesquisa e a extensão. Diante disso, cabe aqui ressaltar a atuação dos grupos de pesquisa, que representa um incentivo à colaboração entre alunos, professores, pesquisadores e a sociedade em prol do progresso científico. Partindo desse princípio, este artigo fortalece ainda mais esse entendimento, apresentando a experiência do Grupo de Pesquisa em Comportamento e Competências Infocomunicacionais, sob uma metodologia etnográfica a partir da observação participante. Assim, descreve-se o InfoCom, quanto às ações, à constituição e à sua relevância nesse contexto, bem como o comportamento do grupo mediante o desenvolvimento de conhecimentos, habilidades, atitudes e a capacidade de aderência ao grupo.@pt
