It aims to analyze the incorporation of Digital Humanities into the area of ââInformation Science through a bibliometric study of the scholarly communications from 2016 to 2021. Specifically, the work aims to bring indicate main concepts in the field, reveal the thematic tendencies and indicate main researchers and co-authorship networks and as well as scientific collaborations in the area. Methodologically, the study is characterized as descriptive and exploratory. Data was collected through access to the Brazilian Reference Database of Journal Articles in Information Science (Brapci). Results indicate that there is a gradual convergence between Digital Humanities and Information Science at an inter and transdisciplinary level and that it occurs through shared methodologies, collaborative projects with the use of digital technologies. Finally, it is possible to point out that the field is rich in possibilities that need to be explored continuously and even critically, in order to produce further scientific evidence.@en
