Diferencia bibliotecas, arquivos e documentação, assim como, arquivistas, bibliotecários e documentalistas. Considera as três profissões como parte da Ciência da Informação, caracterizando historicamente o arquivista no contexto das mutações pelas quais passaram a História e a Pesquisa Histórica.@pt

Examines the role of Archival in society, identifying the questions posed by it, the challenges it faces and possible responses. Differentiates libraries, archives and documentation, as well as archivists, librarians and information officers.
