Perspectivas e alternativas, a biblioteca popular e comunitária em foco

Perspectives and alternatives, the popular and community library in main emphasis

Community libraries are enhancers of the culture of peace and inclusive and social actions; yet, the guidelines for the right to education, culture, information and leisure are aligned. In the methodological dimension, the research is based on the bibliometric approach and brings to light the question about the eminence of the theme ´community library´ in scientific journals of Information Science. The diagnosis encompasses indicators and measures: i) the temporal rise of the theme in the last 20 years; ii) the scientific periods; iii) the outline of the researchers and the most representative keywords. With the search, in May 2021, 80 documentary items are retrieved from the BRAPCI publications collection. The result of the investigation highlights the year 2017 as the most productive, totaling 11 publications; the RBBD magazine as the main communication vehicle, with 11 documentary items retrieved; and, a range of 51 articles produced by a team of two or three scholars. On the productive list, the pulverized form of the theme among 156 researchers is ratified. In this way, the theme locates history and memory that surround the publicity of community strength for informational democratization, and the community library locates forms of social empowerment and active citizenship – given prominence, prospecting and sociocultural and (in)formative primacy to people.@en

As bibliotecas comunitárias são potencializadoras da cultura da paz e de ações inclusivas e sociais; ainda, alinham-se as diretrizes do direito à educação, à cultura, à informação e ao lazer. Na dimensão metodológica, o estudo adentra na abordagem bibliométrica e traz à luz a indagação sobre a eminência do tema ‘biblioteca comunitária’ nos periódicos científicos da Ciência da Informação. O diagnóstico circunda indicadores e dimensiona: i) o alçar temporal do tema nos últimos 20 anos; ii) os períodos científicos; iii) o delinear dos pesquisadores e as palavras-chave mais representativas. Recuperam-se, com a busca no mês de junho de 2021 um rol de 80 artigos no acervo de publicações BRAPCI. O resultado da investigação destaca o ano de 2017 como mais produtivo, somando 11 publicações; a revista RBBD (ISSN: 1980-6949) como principal veículo de comunicação, com 11 itens documentais recuperados; e, uma gama de 51 artigos produzidos por equipe de dois ou três estudiosos. Sobre o rol produtivo, ratifica-se a forma pulverizada do tema entre 156 pesquisadores e 32 periódicos. Nessa via, a temática situa história e memória que cerceiam o alardear da força comunitária para a democratização informacional e, situa formas de empoderamento social e a cidadania ativa – dado proeminência, prospecção e primazia sociocultural e (in)formativa as pessoas.@pt
