Redes de coautoria da produção científica brasileira na área de células-tronco: estudo compreendendo o período de 2001-2020

Co-authorship networks of brazilian scientific production in the area of stem cells: a study including the period 2001-2020

This work aims to analyze the co-authorship network of Brazilian scientific production around stem cells, from 2001 to 2020. This is a longitudinal, quantitative and descriptive research, based on the analysis of social networks, with the co-occurrence of authors as the unit of measurement and, the unit of analysis, the citing author. The results present the metrics of scientific production and networks referring to the largest component of each co-authorship network, from the four sub-periods analyzed: 2001-2005, 2006-2010, 2011-2015 and 2016-2020. Finally, it is inferred that the growing production of studies in stem cells, in Brazil, and the increase in the co-authorship network in the analyzed periods were leveraged due to the increase in the number of authors and the actions promoted by the Ministry of Health, in partnership with the Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq). As future analysis perspectives, this work intends to identify the most relevant authors, the predominant areas and subjects of study and the temporal evolution of stem cell research in Brazil.@en

Este trabalho tem por objetivo analisar a rede de coautoria da produção científica brasileira na área de células-tronco, no período de 2001 a 2020. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de caráter longitudinal, de natureza quantitativa e descritiva, pautada na análise de redes sociais, tendo a coocorrência de autores como unidade de medida e, unidade de análise, o autor citante. Os resultados apresentam as métricas de produção científica e as redes referentes ao maior componente de cada rede de coautoria, dos quatro subperíodos analisados: 2001-2005, 2006-2010, 2011-2015 e 2016-2020. Por fim, infere-se que a crescente produção de estudos na área de células-tronco, no Brasil, e o aumento da rede de coautoria nos períodos analisados foram alavancados em virtude do aumento do número de autores e das ações promovidas pelo Ministério da Saúde, em parceria com o Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq). Como perspectivas futuras de análise, este trabalho pretende identificar os autores mais relevantes, as áreas e assuntos predominantes de estudo e a evolução temporal das pesquisas em células-tronco no Brasil.@pt
