Os afetos nos artefatos da razão: caminhos críticos da verdade no Antropoceno

The affections in the reasonâs artifacts: critical paths of truth in the Anthropocene

It is a theoretical reflection on the notion of objective truth associated with the âbookâ (in its broad historical expression, beyond the vegetal codex) as language-artifact as a deterministic mediator of knowledge. The article focuses on the scientific denialism in the Anthropocene as one of the fruits of the scientific paradigm that opposes reason and affectivity, an ontological problem of language, from which Information Science is born. The beginning of the Anthropocene here is confused with the natureâs machine of reproducibility, encapsulated by the book, from the 15th century onwards. As a social science responsible for the organization, classification and circulation of official scientific knowledge, its foundation - based on the fetishism of technique as a solution for progress - remains one of the challenges to be overcome in contemporary times. For the dialogue, we start with the transhistorical theory of Lev Vygotsky, the notion of epistemological rupture in Bachelard and the concept of technology in Ãlvaro Vieira Pinto@en

Trata-se de uma reflexão teórica sobre a noção de verdade objetiva associada ao artefato-linguagem “livro” (em sua ampla expressão histórica, para além do códice vegetal) como mediador determinista do conhecimento. O artigo focaliza o negacionismo científico no Antropoceno como um dos frutos do paradigma científico que contrapõe razão e afetividade, um problema ontológico da linguagem, de onde nasce a Ciência da Informação. O início do Antropoceno aqui se confunde com a máquina de reprodutibilidade da natureza encapsulada no livro, a partir do século XV. Como ciência social responsável pela organização, classificação e circulação dos saberes científicos oficializados, sua fundação - baseada no fetichismo da técnica como solução para o progresso - se mantém como um dos desafios a serem superados na contemporaneidade.
