The Time Disputation: informational dialogue and history theory in the Zapatista movement

The present article discus the “rebel documents”, made by the Zapatista indigenous in their territory, in southeastern Mexico, willing to denounce the fallacies of progress guided by the capitalist logic of accumulation and exploitation. In this sense, we approach a discussion from economic history and revolutionary praxis about time and the theory of history, emphasizing the critical encounter between an epistemological and practical-informational perspective. From unavoidable principles as human dignity, connection and respect for nature and the demand for freedom of subordinate peoples throughout history, learning about the Zapatista experience reactivates our hope for another time and a possible “other world”@en

El presente artículo está dedicado a la discusión sobre los “documentos rebeldes”, dispuestos a denunciar las falacias del progreso guiadas por la lógica capitalista de acumulación y explotación, realizadas por los indígenas zapatistas en su territorio, en el sureste de México. En ese sentido, abordamos una discusión desde la historia económica y la praxis revolucionaria sobre el tiempo y la teoría de la historia, enfatizando el encuentro crítico entre una perspectiva epistemológica y una práctica-informativa. Teniendo como principios ineludibles la dignidad humana, la conexión y el respeto por la naturaleza y la búsqueda de la libertad de los pueblos subalternos a lo largo de la historia, conocer la experiencia zapatista reactiva la esperanza de otro tiempo y de “otro mundo posible”.@es
O presente artigo se dedica à discussão sobre “documentos rebeldes”, dispostos a denunciar as falácias do progresso orientado pela lógica capitalista de acumulação e exploração, confeccionados pelos indígenas zapatistas em seu território, no sudeste mexicano. Nesse sentido, abordamos uma discussão oriunda da história econômica e da práxis revolucionária sobre o tempo e a teoria da história, acentuando o encontro crítico entre uma perspectiva epistemológica e prático-informacional. Tendo como princípios incontornáveis a dignidade humana, a conexão e o respeito à natureza e a busca de liberdade dos povos subalternizados ao longo da história, tomar conhecimento sobre a experiência zapatista nos reativa a esperança por um outro tempo e um “outro mundo possível”@pt
