A gestão estratégica dos sistemas de informações bibliográficas

Trata dos conceitos de estratégia e planejamento estratégico aplicados a sistemas de informações bibliográficas (Sibi), em empresas e/ou organizações. Sugere modelos para análise, definição, desenvolvimento e avaliação de Sibis, segundo a metodologia do planejamento estratégico, de modo que estes interajam com todos os níveis organizacionais da empresa e demais sistemas de informações bibliográficas, utilizando o máximo de recursos externos de modo a reduzir o custo de acesso às informações e, ao mesmo tempo, aumentara qualidade das respostas oferecidas aos clientes. O Sibi deve ser flexível de modo a reagir positivamente quanto a mudanças no ambiente externo e interno, desenvolver sua estratégia em sintonia com a da organização maior. Reverá seqüência de passos usualmente seguida no planejamento de Sibis, propondo sua inversão, facilitaria uma análise, segundo os princípios do planejamento estratégico.Palavras-chaveAdministração. It indicates some aspects to be followed in a strategic attitude, as: to keep a good interaction with all organization levels and with other bibliographic information systems, to use the maximum of external resources to reduce the information access cost and to increase the system answers quality level, to be flexible to make head against changes, to keep its own strategy in according to the organization one. Is shows that the most usual steps sequence followed to the bibliographic information systems planning must be rigorously inverted to be in according to the strategic management principles.KeywordsManagement.
