Technological advances combined with the globalization process have changed the way organizations create their products, services, processes, knowledge and innovation, requiring professionals who are part of them to have an informational competence. In this sense, the present work aims to analyze how the process of innovation, knowledge and competence in information develops in organizations. For the methodological procedure, a bibliographical and documentary review was carried out, using a qualitative approach. Innovation in organizations is an implementation in products, services and procedures, as well as referring to the adoption of a new method of marketing, advertising, management, etc., and in order to generate innovation in organizations, entrepreneurs should pay attention to the application of internal and external knowledge sources to the organization. Knowledge can be used in organizations to solve existing problems, which can be implicit or explicit, developed in the minds of professionals from their experiences, values ââand experiences. Competence in information refers to the subjects´ ability to learn and teach skills necessary for communication and the development of activities in the various organizational branches. It is understood that these three elements are essential for organizations to be able to manage information, human and material resources, as well as to become highly competitive in the market in which they are inserted.@en

Nesse sentido, o presente trabalho tem por objetivo analisar como se desenvolve o processo de inovação, do conhecimento e da competência em informação nas organizações. A inovação nas organizações trata-se de uma implementação nos produtos, serviços e procedimentos, como também se refere a adoção de um novo método de marketing, de propaganda, de gestão, etc., e para que haja geração de inovação nas organizações, os empreendedores devem atentar para a aplicação de fontes de conhecimentos internos e externos à organização.
