It analyzes the imaginary projections of the student of Generation Alpha in the process of discursive meaning when explaining the school library construct and thus, the oratory representations of the discoveries that the ambience architect in the new digital natives are reached. Discourse analysis is the theoretical and methodological basis that underlies the study and, interviews with students are the guiding thread of the process of discursive meaning about the environment and its transformations. The result summarizes the historicity of the discourse and opens reflections on the thematic corpus of meanings embedding in the speech of the students. It is concluded that children see the library as a specific locus of books - new, of different styles, of different supports, with a playful and interactive duty; and in this, the institution must have the librarian as a mediator of information, a being capable of constantly reinventing itself and acting in dynamic and sociodigital multi-ways of citizenship and reading practice. @en
