O artigo apresenta os resultados de um estudo bibliométrico sobre sete anos da Revista Eletrônica de Comunicação, Informação e Inovação em Saúde – RECIIS. Foram considerados todos os números publicados desde seu lançamento, junho de 2007, até o volume 7, número 4 temático de 2013. Fizeram parte do estudo 30 exemplares, sendo 17 correntes, 11 temáticos e 2 suplementos. Foram analisados todos os artigos, exceto os editoriais, os autores (frequência, padrões de coautoria, vinculação institucional e nacionalidade) e as palavras-chave. Entre os principais resultados encontrados destacam-se que foram identificados 776 autores que produziram 397 artigos. Destes autores, 87% publicaram um único artigo. A média de autores por artigo no período foi de 2,32, com tendência crescente, corroborando com a tese de que no âmbito da ciência, a imagem do pesquisador isolado faz parte do passado. A vinculação dos autores mostrou-se bastante abrangente, tanto na participação de estrangeiros, quanto na de outras regiões brasileiras diferentes de onde está alocada a revista. A análise das palavras-chave mostra o alinhamento da revista com sua meta no sentido de divulgar um novo campo de pesquisa interdisciplinar, comunicação e informação científica e tecnológica em saúde, área essa que é o foco da unidade da Fiocruz que abriga a revista.@pt

The paper presents the results of a bibliometric study over seven years of the Electronic Journal of Communication, Information, and Innovation in Health - RECIIS. All the issues published since its launch in June 2007 until volume 7, number 4 from 2013 were considered. Thirty issues, including 17 current, 11 “tematicas” and 2 supplements, were included in this study. With the exception of the editorials, all the articles, the authors (frequency, patterns of co-authorship, institutional affiliation and nationality) and the keywords were analyzed. Among the main findings, we can highlight that 776 authors produced 397 articles. From this group, 87% published a single article. The average number of articles per author during this period was 2.32, with a growing trend. This supports the theory that in science, the image of an isolated researcher is part of the past. The institutional affiliation of the authors was very broad, not only regarding the participation of foreigners, but also in other different Brazilian regions where the journal is allocated. The keyword analysis shows the alignment of the journal with its goal to disseminate a new field of interdisciplinary research, communication and, scientific and technological information on health.
