Este artigo reflete o fazer arquivístico à luz da concepção teórico-conceitual da memória, pautado, sobretudo, na memória documental com vista a revelar a prática profissional exercida no âmbito do Arquivo Eclesiástico da Arquidiocese da Paraíba, tomando-o como lugar de memória. Nesse sentido, se considerou os aspectos históricos da criação da Arquidiocese da Paraíba, a legislação dos arquivos eclesiásticos, a retrospectiva da criação do Arquivo Eclesiástico da Paraíba e a memória da prática arquivística.@pt
