Desenvolvendo um território com inclusão e cidadania*

O artigo apresenta o território de atuação da Diretoria de Inclusão e Cidadania do Instituto Inhotim, localizado no município mineiro de Brumadinho, a 60 quilômetros de Belo Horizonte. Há quatro anos são promovidas ações sociais que buscam as potencialidades das comunidades de Brumadinho e região, com o propósito de fortalecer o capital social local por meio do apoio a lideranças e organizações comunitárias. Os programas buscam garantir a acessibilidade, a interação e a inclusão social. Na estruturação de tais projetos lança-se mão de um conjunto de instrumentos metodológicos: mapeamento, mobilização, organização, formação e capacitação. Pela ação programática Música, Arte e Cultura no Vale do Paraopeba já foram atendidas, desde 2007, cerca de 1.000 pessoas diretamente, e 8.000 indiretamente. O Desenvolvimento Sustentável com foco no Turismo levou à formação da Rede de Artesãs, da Rede de Empresários, da Rede de Terceira Idade e à ampliação do acesso ao acervo do Instituto Inhotim. Por fim, a ação programática Memória e Patrimônio Histórico, Cultural e Ambiental de Brumadinho e Vale do Paraopeba permitiu a constituição do Centro de Memória e Patrimônio Histórico Cultural, que recupera as especificidades locais. O trabalho tem permitido a construção de relações de confiança, respeito e solidariedade entre o Instituto Inhotim e a comunidade local, expressando o desenvolvimento de boas práticas de inclusão e cidadania.Palavras-chaveInclusão e cidadania. Brumadinho.Developing a territory with inclusion andcitizenshipAbstractThe objective of this paper is to present a territory of performance of the Board of Inclusion and Citizenship at Inhotim, methodologies developed, results and impacts on the process of the ongoing program activities. For four years the social actions have been developed to seek Brumadinho’s communities and regional potentials, with the aim of strengthening the local social capital through the support to community organizations and leaders. The purpose of the programs and projects is to ensure accessibility, interaction and social inclusion. For structuring these programs a set of methodological tools is established: mapping, mobilization, organization and capacity building. Through the programmatic action Music, Art and Culture in the Paraopeba Valley, about 1000 people have been directly helped and 8000, indirectly. Focusing on tourism, Sustainable Development has implemented the formation of Networks of Artisans, Entrepreneurs, Elders and expanded the access to the collection of Inhotim Institute. Finally, the programmatic action Memory and the Historical, Cultural and Environmental Heritage of Brumadinho and Paraopeba Valley allowed the establishment of a Memory and Cultural Heritage Centre that retrieves the local specificities. The work has allowed the construction of relations of trust, respect and solidarity between the Institute and the local community, expressing the development of best practices of inclusion and citizenship.KeywordsInclusion and citzenship.
