                                            [0] => This study aims to elucidate the structure and development of the existing literature on digital literacy in healthcare through bibliometric analysis, with a particular emphasis on studies involving service users and patients. Although the search strategy incorporated terms related to service users and patients, the resulting dataset also encompassed studies involving other population groups, including healthcare professionals and students. A staged search of the Web of Science database, conducted on August 27, 2025, identified 720 publications from 2007 to 2025. Data were analyzed using the bibliometrix package and the biblioshiny web interface in RStudio. The analysis examined publication trends by year, influential journals, sources, and authors, frequently used keywords, and patterns of international collaboration. Findings revealed that the Journal of Medical Internet Research was the most influential journal, while Kayser L. and Mosch L. shared the highest h-index (h-index = 5). The three most frequently used keywords were telemedicine, digital health, and digital literacy. The results highlighted a gap in the literature regarding patients digital literacy and identified telemedicine, telehealth, COVID-19, and digital health as current research themes. Future studies are recommended to focus on the intersection of digital literacy, digital health, and patient-related topics.
                                            [1] => El objetivo de este estudio es esclarecer la estructura y la evolución de la bibliografía existente sobre la alfabetización digital en el ámbito sanitario mediante un análisis bibliométrico, prestando especial atención a los estudios en los que participan usuarios de los servicios y pacientes. Aunque la estrategia de búsqueda incluyó términos relacionados con los usuarios de los servicios y los pacientes, el conjunto de datos resultante también abarcaba estudios en los que participaban otros grupos de población, entre ellos profesionales sanitarios y estudiantes.Una búsqueda escalonada en la base de datos Web of Science, realizada el 27 de agosto de 2025, identificó 720 publicaciones comprendidas entre 2007 y 2025. Los datos se analizaron utilizando el paquete bibliometrix y la interfaz web biblioshiny en RStudio. El análisis examinó las tendencias de publicación por año, las revistas, fuentes y autores más influyentes, las palabras clave más empleadas y los patrones de colaboración internacional. Los resultados revelaron que el Journal of Medical Internet Research fue la revista más influyente, mientras que Kayser L. y Mosch L. compartían el índice h más alto (índice h = 5).. Las tres palabras clave más frecuentes fueron telemedicina, salud digital y alfabetización digital. Los hallazgos pusieron de relieve una laguna en la literatura respecto a la alfabetización digital de los pacientes e identificaron a la telemedicina, la telesalud, la COVID-19 y la salud digital como temas de investigación actuales. Se recomienda que los estudios futuros se centren en la intersección entre alfabetización digital, salud digital y cuestiones relacionadas con los pacientes.
