                                            [0] => Given the rapid development of IT in the academic institution, the impact on library resources, services, and professional culture has been transformative and dramatic. This paper seeks to examine the attitudes, feelings, beliefs, and use of ICT services in the Digital Library in institutions. This perception, thinking, and use of digital libraries can be seen in the Indian context with respect to the context of chosen universities and the librarians and information science (LIS) professionals in which they operate. A descriptive survey research design was used. Data were collected through a survey from 137 deemed universities from LIS professionals to fill out a structured questionnaire. The 71 response results were statistically analyzed with descriptive statistics and chi-square tests. In general, these findings show a rather positive attitude of LIS practitioners towards knowledge sharing, innovation, and utilization of the library service with ICT support. Digital skills and online procedures are seen positively in facilitating access to information and improving the offer of services. However, the studies show that there is a lack of understanding or use of digital library software (such as institutional repository systems), implying a need for focused educational and capacity-building activities. The company faces the problems of lack of infrastructure, poor financial position, and lack of expertise, which hampers successful deployment of ICT. The findings of this study provide empirical evidence on the digital transformation of academic libraries as perceived by LIS professionals, emphasizing the need for institutional support, continuous professional development, and planning. The finding provides useful implications for policymakers, academic administrators, and library administrators to encourage the use of ICT and digital library practices in higher education institutions.
