                    [0] => This systematic review analyses how academic librarians in higher education institutions (HEIs) use educational technology to transform library services and support teaching, learning, and research. Synthesising evidence from 46 studies published between 2020 and 2026, the review examines current practices, existing policy frameworks, and emerging technological innovations in academic libraries. The findings show that academic librarians increasingly embrace advanced digital skills and integrate technologies such as learning management systems, artificial intelligence, digital repositories, virtual learning tools, and data analytics into their services. However, important challenges remain, including budget constraints, insufficient technological infrastructure, staff resistance to change, and gaps in digital skills development. The review highlights the importance of continuous professional development, strategic planning, institutional support, and sustained investment in technology infrastructure to facilitate successful digital transformation. The study contributes to the existing body of knowledge by providing an up-to-date overview of educational technology adoption in academic libraries, identifying key trends, challenges, and opportunities, and offering evidence-based recommendations for librarians, administrators, policymakers, and higher education institutions seeking to improve library services through technology.@en
