                    [0] => Este texto se debruça sobre as sobre as cartas públicas elaboradas pela sociedade civil organizada no Oeste do Pará, ao longo de 2025, ano em que foi realizada a 30ª Conferência das Nações Unidas sobre Mudança do Clima (COP30) na Amazônia brasileira. Ancorando-se em perspectiva etnográfica, a pesquisa contou com acompanhamento de eventos e entrevistas. Assumindo as correspondências como objeto-interlocutor, busca-se responder como circulam as cartas. Em especial, descreve-se a trajetória singular da carta sobre o Projeto de Assentamento Agroextrativista (PAE) Lago Grande redigida pelo Sindicato dos Trabalhadores e Trabalhadoras Rurais (STTR) de Santarém em audiência pública. Constrói-se o argumento de que as cartas elaboradas pela sociedade civil organizada fazem luta e são formas específicas de interpelar o Estado. Considerando que rastrear o fluxo das cartas permite identificar as demandas e tensões que circulam com e pelos documentos, o texto argumenta como a COP30 fez terreno fértil para arranjos e encontros no Oeste do Pará, constituindo um espaço de encruzilhada.@pt
                    [1] => This article examines public letters produced by organized civil society in Western Pará throughout 2025, the year in which the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30) was held in the Brazilian Amazon. Grounded in an ethnographic perspective, the research involved the observation of events and the conduction of interviews. Treating the letters as both objects and interlocutors, the study seeks to understand how these documents circulate. In particular, it traces the singular trajectory of a letter concerning the Lago Grande Agro-Extractivist Settlement Project (PAE), drafted by the Rural Workers’ Union of Santarém during a public hearing. The article argues that letters produced by organized civil society constitute forms of political struggle and specific modes of addressing the State. By following the circulation of these letters, it becomes possible to identify the demands and tensions that travel with and through these documents. Finally, the text contends that COP30 created fertile ground for new arrangements and encounters in Western Pará, constituting a space of intersection.@en
