                    [0] => Health professionals need to stay up-to-date in order to provide quality care. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate opportunities for improvement in the search and consultation of information carried out by health professionals in their continuing education. An exploratory quantitative and qualitative descriptive research was conducted using survey method. Data from 53 health professionals were collected through an online questionnaire with 18 questions about participant´s profile, search for information to improve knowledge and collected materials consultation. The main difference was to identify difficulties of the participants during their information behavior. Regarding the search, the main difficulties reported were: lack of time (67.9%), doubts (20.8%), not knowing where (11.3%) and how (7.5%) to search, and not finding what they wanted (9.4%). Regarding the consultation of the materials found, most participants reported: doubts about information credibility (8%), difficulties in understanding the language used in Portuguese (11%) and content in foreign languages (6%). These results show that there is room to improve information systems supporting Continuing Education in Health, in particular, considering efficiency and effectiveness of searches and the way in which content is presented.@en
                    [1] => Os profissionais de saúde precisam se manter atualizados para prestar assistência de qualidade. Então, este trabalho teve por objetivo investigar oportunidades de melhoria na busca e na consulta de informações realizadas pelos profissionais de saúde na sua educação permanente. Foi realizada uma pesquisa exploratória quantitativa e qualitativa descritiva através do método de survey. Os dados de 53 profissionais de saúde foram coletados através de um questionário online com 18 perguntas sobre o perfil do participante, a busca de informações para aprimorar conhecimentos e a consulta dos materiais coletados. O principal diferencial foi identificar dificuldades dos participantes durante seu comportamento informacional. Sobre a busca, as principais dificuldades relatadas foram: falta de tempo (67,9%), dúvidas (20,8%), não saber onde (11,3%) e como (7,5%) buscar, e não encontrar o que deseja (9,4%). Sobre a consulta dos materiais encontrados, a maioria dos participantes relatou: dúvida sobre a credibilidade da informação (8%), dificuldades para entender a linguagem utilizada em Português (11%) e conteúdos em línguas estrangeiras (6%). Esses resultados evidenciam que há espaço para melhorar os sistemas de informação de suporte à Educação Permanente em Saúde, em particular, considerando a eficiência e a eficácia da busca e o modo de apresentação dos conteúdos.@pt
