                                            [0] => This article presents the Professional Interviews project, carried out in 2022 and 2023, which aims to preserve the history of the profession and of the Associação Portuguesa de Bibliotecários, Arquivistas, Profissionais da Informação e Documentação, through video interviews with nine honorary members. The interviews, conducted using qualitative methodology and supported by software assisted transcription and interpretative review, enable an exploration of the interviewees’ career paths, training, skills development and contributions to the profession and the association. The article discusses the role of the interview as a research technique and describes the practices of similar associations in other countries in the collection of professional memory. The results present excerpts from the interviews across three main themes: training and consolidation of skills, the valuing of career paths and professional identity, and the preservation of the association’s institutional memory, highlighting the impact of professional associations on the dignification of the career and the construction of a professional identity.
                                            [1] => O artigo apresenta o projeto Entrevistas Profissionais, realizado em 2022 e 2023, que visa preservar a memória da profissão e da Associação Portuguesa de Bibliotecários, Arquivistas, Profissionais da Informação e Documentação, através de entrevistas a nove associados honorários, em formato vídeo. As entrevistas, conduzidas com metodologia qualitativa e apoiadas em transcrição assistida por software e revisão interpretativa, permitem explorar percursos profissionais, formação, desenvolvimento de competências e contributos dos entrevistados para a profissão e para a Associação. O artigo discute o papel da entrevista como técnica de investigação e descreve práticas de associações congéneres noutros países na recolha de memória profissional. Os resultados evidenciam excertos das entrevistas em três eixos principais: formação e consolidação de competências, valorização dos percursos e da identidade profissional e preservação da memória institucional da Associação, sublinhando o impacto do associativismo na dignificação da carreira e na construção de uma identidade profissional.
