                                            [0] => Introduction: technological information plays a strategic role in scientific, technological, and industrial development, especially in contexts marked by innovation and competitiveness. Objective: this study aims to present an updated concept of technological information that reflects current demands in academic and productive sectors. Methodology: a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted using national and international databases in the field of Information Science. The search resulted in 1,108 documents, from which 68 relevant definitions of technological information were selected and analyzed. Results: the analysis enabled the identification of recurring themes and common elements in existing definitions, allowing for a deeper understanding of the concept. The study highlights the main characteristics and functions of technological information, such as its association with innovation, competitiveness, and strategic decision-making. It emphasizes its role in improving products, processes, and services, and its relevance in patents and research outputs. Conclusion: the study proposes a new definition of technological information as knowledge related to technologies that generate strategic value through their application. This updated definition contributes to theoretical advances in Information Science and offers practical support to organizations aiming to use technological information as a strategic asset. It also broadens the understanding of the term’s scope, reinforcing its importance for sustainable development and innovation.
                                            [1] => Introdução: A informação tecnológica desempenha um papel estratégico no desenvolvimento científico, tecnológico e industrial, especialmente em contextos marcados por inovação e competitividade. Objetivo: Este estudo tem como objetivo apresentar um conceito atualizado de informação tecnológica que reflita as demandas atuais dos setores acadêmico e produtivo. Metodologia: Foi realizada uma Revisão Sistemática da Literatura (RSL) em bases de dados nacionais e internacionais da área de Ciência da Informação. A busca resultou em 1.108 documentos, dos quais 68 definições relevantes de informação tecnológica foram selecionadas e analisadas. Resultados: A análise permitiu identificar temas recorrentes e elementos comuns nas definições existentes, possibilitando um entendimento mais aprofundado do conceito. O estudo destaca as principais características e funções da informação tecnológica, como sua associação à inovação, competitividade e tomada de decisão estratégica. Enfatiza seu papel na melhoria de produtos, processos e serviços, além de sua presença em patentes e publicações científicas. Conclusão: O estudo propõe uma nova definição de informação tecnológica como o conhecimento relacionado a tecnologias que geram valor estratégico por meio de sua aplicação. Essa definição atualizada contribui para o avanço teórico da Ciência da Informação e oferece suporte prático a organizações que buscam utilizar a informação tecnológica como um ativo estratégico. Também amplia a compreensão do alcance do termo, reforçando sua importância para o desenvolvimento sustentável e a inovação.
