                                            [0] => This paper reviews the most frequently used definitions, methodologies, and objects of analysis in studies on transmedia narratives based on articles published between 2003 and 2023 in Q1 and Q2 journals in Scopus and Web of Science (N = 114). Meta-research is used as a methodological resource to identify the publications and periods with the most papers, as well as the objects of study, methods, and technologies most used. The results reveal that non-fiction is the field that receives the most attention, even though the first definitions of transmedia were linked to fiction. We also identify the approaches and themes that have not been dealt with in these narratives to guide the development of future research in this field.
                                            [1] => Esta investigación revisa las definiciones, metodologías y objetos de análisis más abordados en los estudios académicos sobre narrativas transmedia a partir de los artículos publicados entre 2003 y 2023 en revistas Q1 y Q2 de Scopus y Web of Science (N = 114). Se recurre a la metainvestigación como método para identificar las publicaciones y periodos con más trabajos, así como los objetos de estudio, metodologías y tecnologías dominantes. Los resultados reflejan que el ámbito más atendido es la no ficción, pese a que las primeras definiciones de transmedia se vinculaban con la ficción. Se detectan, además, los enfoques y temáticas no tratados en torno a estas narrativas con el fin de orientar el desarrollo de futuras investigaciones en este campo.
