                    [0] => Contemporary Archival Science is guided by the post-custodial paradigm, which prioritizes access and the social function of documentary information. The study addresses the importance of reflecting on the theoretical and practical implications inherent in the various contexts and approaches within Archival Science particularly regarding the non-neutral nature of representation tools imbued with intentionalities (whether humanistic, technological, or informational). These tools have impacts that affect both institutions and society at large. The objective is to discuss the conceptual relationships regarding the contribution of Informational Intentionality situated within the Post-Phenomenology approach in Information Science to the context of Archival Science. The focus lies on Records Management and Archival Information Representation, processes that materialize through Information Mediation. This is an exploratory, bibliographic study based on a qualitative approach. The results reveal that the technical processing of archives manifests Intentionality, acting as a bridge where the producer´s intention is formalized into Informational Intentionality through various aspects of representation and human/technological mediation. Furthermore, an epistemological gap was identified in the literature, creating an opportunity for studies that integrate Informational Intentionality into Archival Science from a Post-Phenomenological perspective. This approach highlights the move beyond the custodial and technocratic paradigms, reaffirming the archivist´s role as an active, non-neutral social mediator—essential for transforming documentary fonds into intelligible knowledge and ensuring the preservation of collective memory against social erasure.@en
                    [1] => A Arquivologia contemporânea é pautada pelo paradigma pós-custodial, que prioriza o acesso e a função social da informação documental. A problemática do estudo reside na importância de refletir sobre os desdobramentos teóricos e práticos inerentes aos diferentes contextos e abordagens no âmbito da Arquivologia, especialmente no que tange ao caráter não neutro das dos instrumentos de representação carregados de Intencionalidades, sejam elas humanísticas, tecnológicas ou informacionais, cujos impactos podem afetar tanto as instituições quanto a sociedade de modo geral. O objetivo é discutir as relações conceituais do contributo da Intencionalidade Informacional, inserido na abordagem da Pós-Fenomenologia do campo da Ciência da Informação, no contexto da Arquivologia, com enfoque na Gestão Documental e na Representação da Informação Arquivística, que são processos que se concretizam na Mediação da Informação. Trata-se de um estudo exploratório e bibliográfico, fundamentado em uma abordagem qualitativa. Os resultados revelam que o tratamento técnico dos arquivos manifesta Intencionalidade, funcionando como uma ponte na qual a intenção do produtor é formalizada em Intencionalidade Informacional por meio dos diferentes aspectos da representação e da mediação humana e tecnológica. Constatou-se, ainda, uma lacuna epistemológica na literatura, que abre espaço para estudos que integrem a Intencionalidade Informacional à Arquivologia sob a ótica da Pós-Fenomenologia. Essa abordagem evidencia a superação do paradigma custodial e tecnicista, reafirmando o papel do arquivista como mediador social ativo e não neutro, essencial para transformar fundos documentais em conhecimento inteligível e garantir a preservação da memória coletiva contra o apagamento social.@pt
