                                            [0] => This article aims to identify the administrative flow and the documentary types that comprise the process of listing material cultural heritage assets in the state of Pernambuco, Brazil. The research is exploratory, bibliographic, and documentary in nature, based on a literature review in the Information Science Database and on documentary analysis carried out between August and December 2025. A general analysis of 114 state heritage listing processes was conducted, along with the full examination of selected processes due to their documentary, patrimonial, and informational relevance. The study shows that heritage listing is structured as an administrative procedure composed of successive stages, including opening, technical instruction, communication, deliberation, homologation, and registration, each supported by specific documentary production. The main documentary groups identified include opening documents, technical instruction records, communication documents, deliberative documents, homologation records, and documents related to registration, custody, and access. The findings indicate that heritage listing, in addition to being a legal-administrative instrument, constitutes a documentary and informational practice whose effectiveness depends on qualified documentary production, archival management, administrative transparency, and access to heritage information. The article contributes to Information Science by highlighting the role of documents and documentary flows in the preservation of institutional memory and material cultural heritage.
                                            [1] => O artigo tem por objetivo identificar o fluxo administrativo e os tipos documentais que compõem o processo de tombamento de bens culturais materiais em Pernambuco. A pesquisa caracteriza-se como exploratória, bibliográfica e documental, com levantamento na Base de Dados em Ciência da Informação e análise documental realizada entre agosto e dezembro de 2025. Foram analisados, de forma geral, 114 processos de tombamento estadual, além da leitura integral de processos selecionados por sua relevância documental, patrimonial e informacional. O estudo evidencia que o tombamento se estrutura como procedimento administrativo composto por etapas de abertura, instrução técnica, comunicação, deliberação, homologação e registro, cada uma acompanhada por produção documental específica. Identificam-se como principais grupos documentais os documentos de abertura, instrução técnica, comunicação, deliberação, homologação e registro, guarda e acesso. Conclui-se que o tombamento, além de instrumento jurídico-administrativo, constitui prática documental e informacional, cuja efetividade depende da produção documental qualificada, da gestão arquivística, da transparência administrativa e do acesso à informação patrimonial.
