                    [0] => In recent decades, artificial intelligence (AI) has become one of the most prominent technologies for businesses and the general public. Today, AI plays an important role in project planning and management by optimizing resources, automating processes, and supporting decision-making in highly complex contexts. While many studies have examined specific AI applications across sectors, no scientometric review has comprehensively analyzed the evolution and research trends in this field. Thus, this article aims to examine the impact of AI on project planning and management through a scientometric analysis identifying the main research lines, authors, and collaboration networks. A total of 276 documents published between 2006 and 2025 were collected from the Scopus and Web of Science databases using keywords. The findings reveal a network of journals organized into several groups of varying sizes. A dominant cluster of around 450 titles emerged, including core journals such as J Financ, IEEE Access, IJ Project Manage, and Sustainability-Basel. Additionally, production and interconnections among journals increased notably up to 2020–2021, followed by a slight decline toward 2023–2024. These results demonstrate the consolidation of AI as a central theme in project management, highlighting the need to strengthen research in underrepresented regions and sectors.@en
