                    [0] => A apropriação da informação pode ser compreendida como um processo pelo qual um sujeito pode alcançar, por meio da leitura, a produção e a internalização de sentidos e significados presentes no conteúdo lido. A partir disso, a presente pesquisa tem como objetivo evidenciar o fenômeno de apropriação da informação voltado especificamente a partir de práticas de leitura de histórias em quadrinhos confeccionadas no Japão, denominadas mangás. Busca-se demonstrar que, a partir da leitura dos mangás, o leitor pode se apropriar das informações veiculadas na narrativa, além de aplicá-las posteriormente em um ou mais aspectos de suas vidas. Para tanto, procedeu-se a uma pesquisa qualitativa, de natureza descritiva, que contou com uma amostra não probabilística de 20 leitores, residentes em Goiânia - Goiás, que demonstraram grande afinidade com o gênero de quadrinhos e com a prática da leitura de mangás, acessados por meio de entrevistas abertas e em profundidade. Verificou-se que a maioria dos entrevistados que participaram da pesquisa destacou que, por meio de suas incursões no universo dos mangás através de suas leituras, reconheceu a apropriação de uma ou mais das informações a que teve acesso nas páginas dos mangás, aplicando-as às suas próprias vivências. Logo, conclui-se que a prática da leitura de mangás pode ser considerada para além de um caráter exclusivamente recreativo ou voltado para o lazer e o entretenimento, podendo também ser empregada para suprir necessidades simples ou complexas vividas pelos leitores, por meio da atribuição e constatação do sentido e do significado.@pt
                    [1] => The appropriation of information can be understood as a process through which a subject can achieve, through reading, the production and internalization of meanings and meanings present in the content that was read. Based on this, the present research aims to highlight the phenomenon of information appropriation, specifically focusing on the reading practices of comic books made in Japan, known as manga. The aim is to demonstrate that, by reading the manga, readers can absorb the information conveyed in the narrative and apply it later in one or more aspects of their lives. To this end, qualitative research was carried out, of a descriptive nature, which included a non-probabilistic sample of 20 readers, residing in Goiânia - Goiás, who demonstrated great affinity with the comics genre and the practice of reading manga, accessed through open and in-depth interviews. It was found that most interviewees who participated in the research highlighted that, through their forays into the universe of manga through reading, they recognized the appropriation of one or more pieces of information they had access to on the manga pages, applying it to their own experiences. Therefore, it is concluded that the practice of reading manga can be considered beyond an exclusively recreational character or focused on leisure and entertainment and can also be used to meet simple or complex needs experienced by readers, through the attribution and verification of meaning.@en
