                                            [0] => Introdução: O livro raro é o item de um acervo que necessita ser representado nos catálogos por meio de um registro que contemple as suas particularidades materiais e simbólicas. A sua catalogação requer que o catalogador aplique conhecimentos especializados e realize uma investigação sobre os vários aspectos que circundam tal livro. Neste sentido, este artigo tem o objetivo de observar o quanto a catalogação produzida por meio de ferramentas de Inteligência Artificial (IA) se aproxima daquela realizada por humanos, bem como verificar sua conformidade com as regras estabelecidas na 2ª edição do Código de Catalogação Anglo-Americano. Objetivo: O estudo testou ferramentas de inteligência artificial para catalogar uma obra rara do acervo da Fundação Biblioteca Nacional cujo conteúdo está disponível na Biblioteca Nacional Digital. Metodologia: A pesquisa aplicada, de abordagem qualitativa, envolveu a criação de um prompt e sua aplicação em onze ferramentas generativas de inteligência artificial. Utilizando como método o estudo comparado. Foram observadas as confluências, incompatibilidades e concordância com os padrões indicados no prompt. Resultados: Os resultados mostraram que a maior incompatibilidade foi encontrada nos metadados 5XX, e estão relacionadas à superficialidade na descrição e ao acréscimo de dados não contemplados no documento solicitado. Conclusão: As ferramentas não são autossuficientes, porém aprimoram o resultado pois fornecem dados que enriquecem a representação do item, no que se refere aos aspectos materiais e temático.
                                            [1] => Introduction: A rare book is an item in a collection that needs to be represented in catalogs through a record that considers its material and symbolic particularities. Its cataloging requires the cataloger to apply specialized knowledge and conduct research on the various aspects surrounding such a book. In this sense, this article aims to observe how closely cataloging produced using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools approximates that performed by humans, as well as to verify its compliance with the rules established in the 2nd edition of the Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules. Objective: The study tested artificial intelligence tools to catalog a rare work from the collection of the National Library Foundation, whose content is available in the National Digital Library. Methodology: The applied research, with a qualitative approach, involved the creation of a prompt and its application in eleven generative artificial intelligence tools. A comparative study method was used. Confluences, incompatibilities, and agreement with the patterns indicated in the prompt were observed. Results: The results showed that the greatest incompatibility was found in the 5XX metadata and is related to superficiality in the description and the addition of data not included in the requested document. Conclusion: The tools are not self-sufficient, but they improve the result because they provide data that enriches the representation of the item, in terms of both material and thematic aspects.
