                    [0] => This theoretical-reflective essay analyzes the formation of digital groupings of mothers of people with disabilities through the lens of Michel Maffesoli’s concept of tribes, articulating it with central notions from Information Science, such as information mediation, information regimes, and the social imaginary. The aim is to understand how digital social networks operate as spaces for the production of symbolic belonging, the circulation of meanings, and the contestation of narratives surrounding disability. It is argued that, within these environments, mothers assume an active role in information mediation, challenging hegemonic discourses and contributing to the reconfiguration of the social imaginary of disability through digital visibility. However, the study contends that the sense of belonging and the support networks built online do not necessarily translate into material support or the redistribution of care work, thereby revealing structural limitations that extend beyond the digital environment. It concludes that social networks, while expanding information mediation and the production of symbolic recognition, also expose gaps in public policies and institutional forms of support for mothers of people with disabilities. The study suggests the need for future empirical investigations that articulate digital belonging, information mediation, and the concrete conditions of care.@en
                    [1] => Este ensaio teórico-reflexivo analisa a formação de agrupamentos digitais de mães de pessoas com deficiências à luz do conceito de tribos, de Michel Maffesoli, articulando-o a noções centrais da Ciência da Informação, como mediação informacional, regimes de informação e imaginário social. O objetivo é compreender como as redes sociais digitais operam como espaços de produção de pertencimento simbólico, circulação de sentidos e disputa de narrativas sobre a deficiência. Argumenta-se que, nesses ambientes, mães assumem papel ativo na mediação informacional, tensionando discursos hegemônicos e contribuindo para a reconfiguração do imaginário social sobre a deficiência por meio da visibilidade digital. Contudo, sustenta-se que o pertencimento e a rede de apoio construídos online não se convertem, necessariamente, em suporte material ou redistribuição do trabalho de cuidado, evidenciando limites estruturais que extrapolam o ambiente digital. Conclui-se que as redes sociais, ao mesmo tempo em que ampliam a mediação informacional e a produção de reconhecimento simbólico, também expõem lacunas nas políticas públicas e nas formas institucionais de apoio às mães de pessoas com deficiências. O estudo sugere a necessidade de investigações empíricas futuras que articulem pertencimento digital, mediação informacional e condições concretas de cuidado.@pt
