                                            [0] => This research aimed to analyze Brazilian scientific production on capital structure. 166 articles from the Web of Science and Scopus databases were analyzed, covering the period between 2001 and 2025. The data were subjected to bibliometric analysis, exploring performance indicators and suggestions for future studies. The findings allowed the identification of authorship attributes (most prolific authors, gender, and number of authors per article), main research centers, international collaboration, the main theories used, methodological aspects, and suggestions from the articles for the development of new research. In addition to the explicit suggestions from the articles, this work pointed out strategic gaps that are little explored in Brazil, indicating opportunities for greater global insertion of Brazilian research.
                                            [1] => Esta pesquisa objetivou analisar a produção científica brasileira em estrutura de capital. Foram analisados 166 artigos oriundos das bases de dados Web of Science e Scopus, entre 2001 e 2025. Os dados foram submetidos à bibliometria, explorando indicadores de análises de desempenho e análise das sugestões para estudos futuros. Os achados permitiram identificar atributos de autoria (autores mais prolíficos, gênero e quantidade de autores por artigo), principais centros de pesquisa, colaboração internacional, as principais teorias utilizadas, aspectos metodológicos e as sugestões dos artigos para o desenvolvimento de novas pesquisas. Além das sugestões explícitas dos artigos, este trabalho apontou lacunas estratégicas pouco exploradas no Brasil, indicando oportunidades até para uma maior inserção global da pesquisa brasileira.
