Destaca dois pontos: o posicionamento do profissional da informação no mercado de trabalho e a influência positiva que o aperfeiçoamento tecnológico exerce sobre o desempenho deste profissional capacitado a gerenciar a informação interligada aos recursos tecnológicos bem como o auxílio profissional que o bibliotecário, com um amplo conhecimento em informática, tem no manuseio com sistemas automatizados.
