                                            [0] => Objective: Design an informational device (OD) that, based on a historical-cultural approach, facilitates the observation of information literacy (IL) in the training practices of future teachers (FT).
Methods: The study represents a rational-theoretical approach to the design of an OD and is based on observation as a method for representing the reality to be studied.
Results: The main achievement of the study is the sharing of the OD proposal and the process related to its validation.
Conclusions: i) The concept of reference IL, based on discourse semiotics, represents a basic alternative for describing IL in FT from a historical-cultural perspective and, by determining a specific categorical system of analysis, positions the design of the OD as complex; ii) The intended observation is not neutral in nature, given that it is supported by experiential, epistemological, theoretical, and methodological references; and iii) The “superior” nature of the OD is a basis for enabling a reflective and critical stance towards the observation carried out by FT on their academic information practices.
                                            [1] => Objetivo: Diseñar un dispositivo observacional (DO) que, basado en un enfoque histórico-cultural, facilite la observación de competencias informacionales (CI) en prácticas formativas de futuros docentes (FD).
Método: El estudio representa una aproximación racional-teórica, al diseño de un DO, y se basa en la observación como método, para realizar la representación de la realidad que se pretende estudiar.
Resultados: Como logro principal del estudio, se comparte la propuesta de DO y el proceso relacionado con su validación.
Conclusiones: i) El concepto de CI de referencia, basado en la semiótica del discurso, representa una alternativa base para describir las CI en FD desde un enfoque histórico-cultural y, al determinar un sistema categorial de análisis específico, posiciona, como complejo, el diseño del DO; ii) La observación pretendida, no es de carácter neutral, dado que se soporta en referentes de tipo experiencial, epistemológico, teórico y metodológico y iii) El carácter de “superior” del DO, es una base para posibilitar una postura reflexiva y crítica a la observación que lleven a cabo los FD sobre sus prácticas informacionales académicas.
