                                            [0] => This article presents a analysis of the research positioning achieved between 2015 and 2024 in Honduras and published in the Scopus database, a bibliographic database of abstracts and citations of peer-reviewed scientific literature and part of the Elsevier publishing house. The types of publication by year, the thematic areas in which these researches were developed, the language of publication, institutional affiliations, and the countries with the greatest collaboration are analyzed. A quantitative approach and documentary analysis technique were used. In Honduras, scientific production has increased by 389% over the last ten years, with a total of 3,089 published documents. The largest increase was between 2019 and 2020, when it went from 240 to 424 documents, representing a 77% increase for that year. The publications mainly focus on research articles and the area of ​​Medicine, as well as publications in English.
                                            [1] => El artículo presenta un análisis del posicionamiento, entre 2015 y 2024, de las investigaciones publicadas por Honduras en Scopus la cual es una base de datos bibliográfica de resúmenes y citas de literatura científica revisada por pares, parte de la Editorial Elsevier. La exploración usó un paradigma cuantitativo y la técnica de análisis documental. El análisis presenta tipos de publicación por año, áreas temáticas que abordaron las investigaciones, idiomas de publicación, filiaciones institucionales y países con mayor recurrencia de publicación. Como conclusión se observa que en la última década la producción científica en Honduras ha tenido un incremento de 389% correspondiente a un total de 3,089 documentos publicados, evidenciando un mayor aumento entre 2019 y 2020 cuando pasó de 240 a 424 documentos, representado en 77% de aumento para ese año. El mayor énfasis de las publicaciones está en los artículos de investigación, la medicina y el inglés.
