                    [0] => Muito se discute sobre a memória e os espaços responsáveis por preservá-la e transmiti-la às gerações futuras. A memória, enquanto capacidade humana de registrar experiências e saberes, manifesta-se em lugares materiais, funcionais e simbólicos. As Bibliotecas Universitárias, nesse contexto, podem ser compreendidas como lugares de memória, por atuarem na custódia, organização e difusão do conhecimento acumulado pela humanidade, considerando as particularidades dos usuários e a comunidade acadêmica que atendem. Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar a Biblioteca Sant’Ana como lugar de memória, evidenciando suas práticas e estratégias de preservação e promoção do saber. A metodologia adotada baseou-se em pesquisa bibliográfica, com consulta a bases de dados acadêmicas, além daanálise de documentos institucionais da referida faculdade, enquadrando-se em um estudo de caso. A discussão abrange conceitos sobre memória, cultura e a função social das bibliotecas, propondo estratégias para fortalecer o papel da Biblioteca Sant’Ana como espaço simbólico, dinâmico e educativo. Os resultados apontam que a biblioteca apresenta iniciativas relevantes como atualização semestral do acervo, espaços de estudo diversificados e vínculo com o Núcleo de Arte e Cultura, criado em 2024. Ainda assim, identifica-se a necessidade de ampliar ambientes físicos, implementar sistemas automatizados de informação e investir em ações que valorizem a história institucional. Conclui-se que a Biblioteca Sant’Ana se configura como organismo em crescimento e possui potencial significativo para consolidar-secomo lugar de memória no ambiente universitário.@pt
                    [1] => Much is discussed about memory and the spaces responsible for preserving it and transmitting it to future generations. Memory, as the human capacity to record experiences and knowledge, manifests itself in material, functional, and symbolic places. In this context, university libraries can be understood as places of memory, as they act in the custody, organization, and dissemination of knowledge accumulated by humanity, considering the particularities of the users and the academic community they serve. This study aims to analyze the Sant´Ana Library as a place of memory, highlighting its practices and strategies for preserving and promoting knowledge. The methodology adopted was based on bibliographic research, consulting academic databases, and analyzing institutional documents from the aforementioned faculty, falling within the scope of a case study. The discussion covers concepts related to memory, culture, and the social function of libraries, proposing strategies to strengthen the role of the Sant’Ana Library as a symbolic, dynamic, and educational space. The results indicate that the library has relevant initiatives, such as biannual updates to its collection, diversified study spaces, and a link to the Art and Culture Center, created in 2024. Nevertheless, there is a need to expand physical environments, implement automated information systems, and invest in actions that value institutional history. It is concluded that the Sant´Ana Library is a growing organization with significantpotential to consolidate itself as a place of memory in the university environment.@en
