                    [0] => Se relata la historia de la Biblioteca y su edificio;se describen algunos de los documentos con valor histórico que se han identificadoy se analiza el estado de conservación de los documentos anteriores a 1945, denominado “Fondo antiguo”. El trabajo conjunto permitió“descubrir” que la Biblioteca era anterior ala que se daba por cierto. Se utilizaron fuentes editas (Palma, 1958) y fuentes inéditas (Libros de Acordadas del Poder Judicial y otros documentos). Los documentos identificados permitieron impulsar la declaratoria de la colección histórica como “Bienes integrantes del Patrimonio Cultural de la Provincia”, (Decreto N° 1968/19). Se aporta al reconocimiento de bibliotecas centenarias, a la identificación y a la valoración del patrimonio documental de la provincia de Corrientes.@es
                    [1] => The paper describes the history of the Library and its building, and analyzes the condition of documents dating from before 1945, known as “Fondo antiguo.” Some of the documents of historical value that have been identified are described. It was possible to discover that the library´s origins predated what was previously believed. Historical research was conducted using both published (Palma, 1958) and unpublished sources (Judicial Branch Decision Books and another documents).The identified documents made it possible to declare the historical collection as “part of the Cultural Heritage of the Province”, as recognised (Decree N°. 1968/19). The study contributes to the recognition of century-old libraries and the identification and appraisal of historical documents in the province of Corrientes.@en
