                    [0] => This article examines the perpetuation and normalization of violence against women over time, analyzing how statistical evidence highlights this serious social problem. Through bibliographic research grounded in the theory of masculine domination and seminal works by feminist theorists, the study demonstrates how structural gender inequalities in Brazilian society sustain both physical and symbolic violence, as well as femicides. The analysis reveals that although statistical data present methodological limitations - including classification problems, conceptual issues, and underreporting - they clearly demonstrate the need for more effective state action. The study indicates that consolidating reliable information about types of violence, victim profiles, and the most vulnerable regions is essential to guide the formulation of more assertive public policies, enable strategic resource allocation, identify risk patterns preventively, and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented measures. The study concludes that only through strengthening an integrated unified data system will the State be able to create effective conditions for women to break the cycle of endemic violence that continues to victimize them in contemporary society.@en
                    [1] => Analisa como a violência contra as mulheres é perpetuada e naturalizada no decorrer dos anos e como as informações estatísticas evidenciam esse problema social. Pesquisa bibliográfica, a análise e interpretação foram fundamentadas na teoria da dominação masculina e nos trabalhos seminais desenvolvidos por teóricas feministas sobre a temática. O estudo explicita que a dominação masculina, assentada nas desigualdades de gênero que discriminam as mulheres, estrutura a violência física e simbólica e contribui para a ocorrência do feminicídio. As informações estatísticas, embora ainda apresentem muitos problemas de classificação, conceito e registro, mostram a necessidade de atuação do Estado no fortalecimento de políticas públicas para que as mulheres tenham garantidas as condições básicas para se libertarem da violência endêmica que continua a atingi-las. A consolidação de informações confiáveis sobre tipos de violência, perfis das vítimas e regiões mais afetadas, pode contribuir com o Estado na busca de estratégias de direcionamento de recursos e ações preventivas, identificação de padrões de risco e em medidas de eficácia das soluções implementadas.@pt
