                    [0] => This paper describes an overview of two highly relevant topics in education: competency-based training, and the use of technological tools as a key factor to consider in undergraduate curricula. The approach is based on the theoretical and reference framework for the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in higher education and the technological resources available for information management. It also outlines the professional competencies proposed in the White Paper, as well as the comprehensive university training model and the guidelines established in academic programs offered by the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí (UASLP) through its School of Information Sciences (FCI). It also offers an outline of the technological tools used in university training processes. It also outlines the methodology used in the study to identify the set of IT resources that have fostered the development of ICT competencies. Finally, it presents the reader with the findings and conclusions of the research.@en
                    [1] => En este trabajo se describe el panorama general sobre dos tópicos de gran relevancia en el ámbito educativo, por un lado, la formación por competencias y, por otro, el uso de herramientas tecnológicas como factor clave para considerar en planes de estudio de nivel licenciatura. El abordaje parte del marco teórico y de referencia sobre el uso de tecnologías de información y comunicación en educación superior y los recursos tecnológicos disponibles para la gestión de información. Se presenta también un esbozo sobre las competencias profesionales que propone el Libro Blanco de documentación, así como el modelo universitario de formación integral y los lineamientos declarados en programas académicos que oferta la Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí, a través de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Información. Se ofrece un bosquejo sobre herramientas tecnológicas utilizadas en los procesos de formación universitaria y se señala la metodología empleada en el estudio para identificar el conjunto de recursos informáticos que han permitido fomentar el desarrollo de competencias TIC. Finalmente, se exponen los hallazgos y las conclusiones de la investigación.@es
