                                            [0] => This study analyzes the thematic and conceptual development of Brazilian Paleontology between 1940 and 2024, using a scientometric approach. Data were extracted from 1,465 PhD CVs registered on the Lattes Platform, totaling 31,670 studies and 91,922 keywords. The analysis was carried out in three periods: 1940-1969, 1970-1999, and 2000-2024. The study employed quantitative and qualitative methods, using tools such as OpenRefine, Table2Net, Gephi, and Brapci Bibliometric Tools to organize, analyze, and visualize the data. The results revealed a significant growth in scientific production throughout the periods. In Period I (1940-1969), research was initial, focused on palynotaxonomy and morphology, with Rio Grande do Sul and Pará as prominent geographic areas. Period II (1970-1999) showed significant growth, with emphasis on the Paraná Basin, sedimentology, and stratigraphy. Period III (2000-2024) showed the greatest increase, with a focus on systematics, taxonomy, and the use of molecular approaches. Keyword networks became denser and more complex over time, reflecting greater interdisciplinarity. Cluster analysis revealed distinct thematic communities, with a focus on Brazilian paleontological studies, ecology, biodiversity, and conservation. Research has evolved from a field with limited connections to a highly interconnected and diverse field. The study showed that the Lattes Platform is a valuable tool for analyzing the evolution of paleontology in Brazil, allowing the mapping of research trends and the consolidation of the field.
                                            [1] => Este estudo analisou o desenvolvimento temático e conceitual da Paleontologia brasileira entre 1940 e 2024, utilizando uma abordagem cientométrica. Os dados foram extraídos de 1.465 currículos de doutores cadastrados na Plataforma Lattes, totalizando 31.670 estudos e 91.922 palavras-chave. A análise foi realizada em três períodos: 1940-1969, 1970-1999 e 2000-2024. O estudo empregou métodos quantitativos e qualitativos, utilizando ferramentas como OpenRefine, Table2Net, Gephi e Brapci Bibliometric Tools para organizar, analisar e visualizar os dados. Os resultados revelaram um adensamento na produção científica ao longo dos períodos. No Período I (1940-1969), a pesquisa era inicial, focada em palinotaxonomia e morfologia, com o Rio Grande do Sul e Pará como áreas geográficas de destaque. O Período II (1970-1999) mostrou um crescimento mais evidente, com ênfase na Bacia do Paraná, sedimentologia e estratigrafia. O Período III (2000-2024) apresentou o maior aumento, com foco em sistemática, taxonomia e o uso de abordagens moleculares. As redes de palavras-chave tornaram-se mais densas e complexas ao longo do tempo, refletindo maior interdisciplinaridade e a especificidade das pesquisas. A análise de clusters revelou comunidades temáticas distintas, com foco em estudos paleontológicos brasileiros, ecologia, biodiversidade e conservação. A pesquisa evoluiu de um campo com conexões limitadas para um campo altamente interconectado e diversificado. O estudo também ressalta a Plataforma Lattes como uma ferramenta valiosa para analisar a evolução da Paleontologia no Brasil, permitindo mapear tendências de pesquisa e a consolidação do campo.
