                                            [0] => This study addresses the use of playful activities in school libraries as a way to encourage reading among early childhood education students, that is, children up to age 5. The research aims to demonstrate the importance of games and play as a tool to promote reading in school libraries that serve early childhood education. Descriptive and exploratory in nature, with a qualitative approach, the study is based on a combination of a literature review and a descriptive analysis of practical experiences. The results show that promoting reading through playfulness can help children see reading as attractive and enjoyable, highlighting the importance of the school library and the librarian as mediators in this process. Therefore, it is believed that the school library can be a favorable space for activities that include games and play that encourage reading, word construction, syllable identification, among other skills and abilities.
                                            [1] => Este estudo aborda a utilização de atividades lúdicas na biblioteca escolar como forma de motivar a leitura entre os alunos da educação infantil, ou seja, crianças até 5 anos. O objetivo da pesquisa é demonstrar a importância dos jogos e brincadeiras como ferramenta para promover a leitura nas bibliotecas escolares que atendem a educação infantil. De cunho descritivo e exploratório com abordagem qualitativa, o estudo baseia-se em uma combinação de revisão bibliográfica com análise descritiva de experiências práticas. Os resultados evidenciam que a promoção da leitura por meio da ludicidade pode auxiliar as crianças a enxergarem a leitura como algo atrativo e prazeroso, ressaltando a relevância da biblioteca escolar e do bibliotecário como mediadores nesse processo. Logo, acredita-se que a biblioteca escolar pode ser um espaço propício para a realização de atividades que incluam brincadeiras e jogos que estimulem a leitura, a construção de palavras, a identificação de sílabas, entre outras competências e habilidades.
