                    [0] => This article presents the results of an investigation into educational practices of critical information literacy (CIL) in the multi-level libraries of the Instituto Federal de Brasília (IFB). The study sought to understand the perspectives and attitudes of information professionals toward educational practices of CIL within these libraries. A qualitative approach was adopted, combining documentary research on the regulations of the Sistema de Bibliotecas do Instituto Federal de Brasília (SiBIFB), questionnaires administered to the coordinators of nine out of the institution’s ten libraries, and semi-structured interviews with seven professionals from two campuses. The analysis of institutional guidelines indicated a tendency to prioritize technical services of the libraries over educational practices. The questionnaires revealed that library teams are small and that the libraries operate for extended hours, which limits their ability to develop educational activities. The interviews, on the other hand, demonstrated a broad understanding among participants regarding educational processes, while also highlighting the tension between administrative demands and educational work. The study concludes that, despite structural and institutional obstacles, multi-level libraries represent fertile spaces for the development of critical information literacy.@en
                    [1] => Este artigo apresenta os resultados da investigação sobre as práticas educativas de competência crítica em informação (CCI) nas bibliotecas multiníveis do Instituto Federal de Brasília (IFB). A pesquisa buscou compreender as perspectivas e atitudes dos profissionais da informação sobre práticas educativas de competência crítica em informação (CCI) no âmbito dessas bibliotecas. Realizou-se uma pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa, com o uso de procedimentos de pesquisa documental nos regulamentos do Sistema de Bibliotecas do Instituto Federal de Brasília (SiBIFB) e levantamento por meio de questionários, com os coordenadores de nove das dez bibliotecas da instituição, e de entrevistas semiestruturadas, com sete profissionais de dois Campi. A análise das diretrizes institucionais indicou uma intenção de priorizar os serviços técnicos das Bibliotecas em oposição às práticas educativas. Pelos questionários foi possível verificar que as equipes das bibliotecas são reduzidas, e que o horário de funcionamento das unidades é extenso, o que compromete a capacidade de desenvolver práticas educativas. As entrevistas, por outro lado, mostraram uma ampla compreensão dos entrevistados sobre os processos educativos. Mostrou também a tensão existente entre as práticas administrativas e o trabalho educativo. Conclui-se que, apesar dos obstáculos estruturais e institucionais, as bibliotecas multiníveis configuram-se como espaços férteis para o desenvolvimento da competência crítica em informação.@pt
