                                            [0] => The study presents the implementation of the Digital Library of the National Historical and Artistic Heritage Institute (BD-Iphan), In the context of eScience and the expansion of information access in the public sector. The objective was to develop a digital library model capable of organizing, representing, and disseminating Iphan’s documentary and technical-scientific output, including dissertations from the Professional Master’s Program in Cultural Heritage Preservation. Methodologically, it is an experience report carried out in partnership between Iphan and Ibict, structured into three stages: (i) survey of context and document typologies; (ii) creation and customization of the digital library model, adopting the DSpace 7 software; and (iii) dissemination of results. The findings indicate the analysis of more than 700 documents from 20 institutional units, of which 42 technical-scientific typologies were selected to integrate the Digital Library. A total of nine communities were created, including the Master’s Dissertations collection, already integrated into the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD). It is concluded that BD-Iphan, currently available with more than 300 full-text documents, contributes to strengthening organizational communication by making documents of interest available to both internal and external audiences of the Institute. The study also aims to encourage governmental organizations to adopt open-source software for the dissemination, sharing, and distribution of institutional information, as well as to promote transparency and access to information, while adapting digital environments used to describe and provide access to digital files.
                                            [1] => O estudo apresenta a implementação da Biblioteca Digital do Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional (BD-Iphan), no contexto da eScience e da ampliação do acesso à informação no setor público. O objetivo foi desenvolver um modelo de biblioteca digital capaz de organizar, representar e disseminar a produção documental e técnico-científica do Iphan, incluindo dissertações do Mestrado Profissional em Preservação do Patrimônio Cultural. Metodologicamente, trata-se de um relato de experiência conduzido em parceria entre o Iphan e o Ibict, estruturado em três etapas: (i) levantamento do contexto e da tipologia documental; (ii) criação e customização do modelo de BD, com adoção do software DSpace 7; e (iii) disseminação dos resultados. Os resultados indicam a análise de mais de 700 documentos oriundos de 20 unidades do Instituto, dos quais 42 tipologias técnico-científicas foram selecionadas para integrar a Biblioteca Digital. Foram criadas nove comunidades, incluindo a coleção de Dissertações do Mestrado, já integrada à Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD). Conclui-se que a BD-Iphan, hoje disponível com mais de 300 documentos em texto completo, atua para fomentar a comunicação organizacional, disponibilizando documentos de interesse para o público interno e externo do instituto. O estudo visa estimular que as organizações governamentais adotem softwares livres para a divulgação, compartilhamento e disseminação da informação institucional, como também para promover a transparência e acesso à informação, mas também que adequem os ambientes digitais que são utilizados para descrever e disponibilizar os arquivos digitais.
