This study, through bibliographic research, with a qualitative approach and with an explanatory and descriptive objective, sought to understand the concepts of the terms 'ensure' and 'access' as part of the specialized discourse of the 2030 Agenda, according to the assumptions of the Communicative Theory of Terminology (TCT) by Maria Teresa Cabré (2005) - the principle of polyhedricity of terminological units. It is understood then, that according to the literalness of the translated words, the most appropriate interpretation would be 'without concern', to ensure and 'approach' for access.

Este estudo, por meio da pesquisa bibliográfica de abordagem qualitativa e com o objetivo explicativo e descritivo, buscou entender os conceitos dos termos 'assegurar' e 'acesso' como parte do discurso especializado da Agenda 2030, conforme os pressupostos da Teoria Comunicativa da Terminologia (TCT) de Maria Teresa Cabré (2005) – o princípio da poliedricidade das unidades terminológicas. Entende-se então, que segundo a literalidade das palavras traduzidas, a interpretação mais adequada seria 'sem preocupação', para assegurar e 'aproximar-se' para acesso.
