                                            [0] => O presente dossiê investiga a Inteligência Artificial (IA) como um híbrido sociotécnico, ao tentar refletir sobre a visão de exaltação ou demonização e reconhecendo-a como um componente estrutural onipresente na vida social que molda o cotidiano e reestrutura relações de poder, intensificando debates éticos, jurídicos e sociopolíticos, especialmente após a popularização da IA generativa. Adotando uma abordagem crítica e interdisciplinar, o dossiê considera a IA um fenômeno coproduzido por imaginários culturais, forças políticas e dinâmicas institucionais, e não uma evolução tecnológica inevitável. As contribuições analisam as implicações da IA em diversos âmbitos - como serviços públicos (chatbots), transparência empresarial, competências no ensino superior, automação na pesquisa e inclusão em bibliotecas, e construção da cidadania digital em plataformas - buscando compreender como os sistemas de IA refletem e remodelam as estruturas sociais existentes e promovem uma cultura crítica da IA orientada para a equidade, transparência e desenvolvimento humano sustentável.

                                            [1] => This dossier investigates Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a sociotechnical hybrid, attempting to reflect upon the view of exaltation or demonization and recognizing it as an omnipresent structural component in social life that shapes daily routines and restructures power relations, intensifying ethical, legal, and sociopolitical debates, especially after the popularization of generative AI. Adopting a critical and interdisciplinary approach, the dossier considers AI a phenomenon co-produced by cultural imaginaries, political forces, and institutional dynamics, rather than an inevitable technological evolution. The contributions analyze the implications of AI across various fields—such as public services (chatbots), corporate transparency, competencies in higher education, automation in research and inclusion in libraries, and the construction of digital citizenship on platforms—seeking to understand how AI systems reflect and reshape existing social structures and promote a critical culture of AI oriented towards equity, transparency, and sustainable human development.
