                    [0] => The exponential growth of digital native newspapers and their audiences stimulates interest in the informative content of these media as an object of research in Communication. Among the least studied news components are photography and semantic relationships with the headlines they accompany. This article empirically examines both factors. Base on a content analysis, a coding sheet of its own design is applied to a sample of 602 units from four Spanish press releases in this area. The essential objective is to determine the informative contribution of photography in conventional news, analyzing its contents and its degree of semantic agreement with the headline, in relation to the sections where they are published. The conclusions indicate that the images show few details, they are simple and obvious, and their significant link with the headline of the news, without being dissonant, is not very direct or clear either. Thus, the informative contribution is generally superficial, it only reflects the most obvious, and also easier to record aspects, and those that require less effort. These trends are more accentuated in the Economics section. It is worth considering as an influencing factor that today access to news is carried out mainly through mobile devices and in open contexts, which promotes superficial and fast reading habits.@en
                    [1] => El crecimiento exponencial de los periódicos nativos digitales y sus audiencias estimula el interés respecto a los contenidos informativos de estos medios como objeto de investigación en Comunicación. Entre los componentes noticiosos menos estudiados están la fotografía y las relaciones semánticas con los titulares a los que acompañan. Este artículo examina empíricamente ambos factores. Sobre la base metodológica del análisis de contenido, se aplica una ficha de codificación de diseño propio a una muestra de 602 unidades procedentes de cuatro cabeceras de prensa españolas en este ámbito. El objetivo esencial es determinar cuál es la aportación informativa de la fotografía en las noticias convencionales, analizando sus contenidos y su grado de concordancia semántica con el titular, en relación a las secciones donde se publican. Las conclusiones indican que las imágenes muestran pocos detalles, son simples y obvias, y su nexo significativo con el titular de la noticia, sin ser disonante, tampoco es muy directo o claro. Así pues, la aportación informativa es generalmente superficial, sólo refleja los aspectos más evidentes, y también más fáciles de registrar y que requieren menor esfuerzo productivo. Estas tendencias se acentúan más en la sección de Economía. Conviene considerar como factor de influencia que hoy en día el acceso a las noticias se realiza mayoritariamente a través de dispositivos móviles y en contextos abiertos, lo que propicia hábitos de lectura superficial y rápida.@es
