                    [0] => Libraries can assemble memory collections in their holdings for preservation purposes; in regional memory collections, they gather works related to a specific region, state, or city, representing its community. The federal capital has a geographic peculiarity: the Federal District is divided into Administrative Regions, and Brasília is the only city. To analyze how Brasília and the Federal District are represented in books and pamphlets within “Brasília” collections in libraries, a descriptive, exploratory study was conducted using document and content analysis of three such collections, mapping the works, subjects, and locations covered. The study identified 1,799 books and pamphlets across the three collections; of these, 1,203 primarily address Brasília (760 titles), the Federal District (367 titles), and the Administrative Regions (76 titles). Among the subjects identified, Brasília is strongly linked to Literature, History, Art, Architecture, and Sociology, whereas the Federal District is associated with Geography, Politics, and Economics. It is concluded that, although the federal capital lies within the Federal District and is not limited to Brasília, the publications in the Brasília Collections reinforce a linear, hegemonic narrative built since the transfer and construction of the new capital—focusing mainly on Brasília, the idealized spatial unit, to the detriment of the other Administrative Regions that make up the Federal District.@en
                    [1] => As bibliotecas podem reunir em seus acervos coleções de memória visando à preservação, e no caso das coleções de memória regional, as bibliotecas reúnem obras que se relacionam a determinada região, estado ou cidade, representando a sua coletividade. Na capital federal existe uma peculiaridade na estrutura geográfica tendo a área do Distrito Federal separada em Regiões Administrativas e com Brasília sendo a única cidade. Com o objetivo de analisar a representação de Brasília e do Distrito Federal nas publicações de livros e folhetos em coleções sobre a capital federal em bibliotecas, realizou-se uma pesquisa de caráter descritivo e exploratório, por meio de análise documental e análise de conteúdo em três coleções bibliográficas denominadas Brasília, realizando um mapeamento das obras e dos assuntos, bem como das localidades abordadas nas publicações. Como resultado, foram identificados 1.799 livros e folhetos nas três coleções, e desses, 1.203 títulos que tratam, como assunto principal, de Brasília (760 títulos), do Distrito Federal (367 títulos) ou das Regiões Administrativas (76 títulos). Dos assuntos identificados, Brasília é amplamente associada à Literatura, História, Arte, Arquitetura e Sociologia, enquanto o Distrito Federal se relaciona com temáticas voltadas para Geografia, Política e Economia. Conclui-se que apesar da capital federal estar no Distrito Federal, não sendo composta só por Brasília, as publicações presentes nas Coleções Brasília corroboram com uma história linear e hegemônica construída desde a transferência e construção da nova capital, abordando principalmente Brasília, unidade espacial idealizada, em detrimento das outras Regiões Administrativas que compõem o Distrito Federal.@pt
